Empowering General Practitioners: A Knowledge-Sharing Platform for GPs In Denmark’s Most Deprived Areas

General Practitioners at the Deep End work in general practices serving the most deprived populations in Denmark, based on the proportion of patients on the practice list with postcodes in the most deprived areas of Denmark. We helped them build a light and tactile platform to coordinate and share knowledge.

Exhibit 1: Together with universities and the broader international network, we supported the integration of key research and reports into the platform, making it easily accessible for Danish GPs. This collaboration ensured that essential resources were always at their fingertips. Through this effort, we facilitated a stronger connection between research and practical application in healthcare.

Using the ADKAR model, we identified key behavioral factors to incorporate into the design, ensuring the platform would be adopted by GPs and add value to their work.

Exhibit 2: Danish GPs. By interviewing doctors, we primarily assessed their Desire, Knowledge, and Ability to use the platform. This enabled us to design an experience that aligned with their behaviors, ensuring the platform met their needs and encouraged consistent use.
